Today I am thankful for coveralls. And warm days. And corn on the cob - one of my all-time favourite things to eat.
Breathing
Breathing. Every now and then it helps to allow yourself to do nothing else but focus on breathing. Give yourself over to it. Listen to your breath. Think of nothing else. mmmmmmmmmmm........
Today’s blessings
The kids are home and simply here. The dog is happy and nearby. My wife and I went for a walk in the cool evening My friend is well, Black butterflies are in the field. I made sourdough waffles for breakfast. Vanilla ice cream and honey on top.
Contentment
It is a blessing to feel satisfied when one completes a task- such as finishing painting one's home. My wonderful family is a blessing. Warm weather is a blessing. Contentment is a blessing.

I paint all day. I am nervous around the incoming electrical wires and my legs shake when I am really high on the ladder.
