I am thankful for the beautiful quality of light that the sum cast across the field behind my house. I am thankful for the sheer joy and enthusiasm Finn shows every time he is afield. I am glad that dancing exists.
Rustic Bread
I was going to write about how I grateful for the smell of woodsmoke. I was going to somehow tie in the crust of the bread I baked. These are good things, and I am grateful for them. I am mostly grateful for not allowing myself to wallow in self pity.
