it is late in the evening and I am wearing a warm sweater on a cold night. my wife is with me and we sit near the wood stove.  my dog rests on the other sofa and the cat is tranquil.

it is quiet time and quite lovely.

earlier we ate warm food and talked about our days.

work on our home is coming along

our daughters are beautiful and strong

things are going well.

for all of this, I am thankful
