I have three patches of dry skin.  Scaly patches.  Itchy patches.

I put cream on them

It feels good.

I really want to tell you, dear reader, where they are, but I will not.  I will not tell you and you won’t ask and I could guess at the reasons why you might not ask, but it is better that this knowledge not come between us.  It would be awkward.  It would be awkward if certain things were said and when one crosses that bridge, it burns underfoot.  Certain rivers cannot be swum, and even if they could, we would, both of us dearest reader, be wet.

So we go on.  We take comfort in the fact that partial knowledge is better than no knowledge.  We smile as we suppress our curiosity, or while you suppress yours, rather. I smile even deeper knowing that despite the smoothing over this text gives us both, part of you already knows the answer.  Part of you already knows the answer and I know you know. You know that I know that you know, and on it goes.  I am enough of a freak to point this out, Yes I am.
